Phil Foden

  • Price: £8.1m
  • Picked by: 7%
  • Fixtures: Wolves (H), Leeds (H), Newcastle (a)

With two home games and 19th placed in their next three games it would be wise to have at least one Man City midfielder.

Foden is a great choice, having an xA of 3.1, averaging the third highest xA per 90 (0.4).

Against Watford he created 5 chances, the most in the match, and also missed one big chance, having an xG of 0.45 and an xA of 0.7.

Furthermore, he’s getting 1.31 shots on target per 90 (7th most in the league), producing a non-penalty xG per shot of 0.2 (6th highest).

Finally, his npxG per 90 is 0.46 (8th highest), and only being 7% owned makes him a very clever transfer.

Michail Antonio

  • Price: £7.9m
  • Picked by: 39%
  • Fixtures: Burnley (a), Arsenal (a), Norwich (H)

Despite not scoring since GW9, Antonio has the third most attacking returns in the league (6 goals, 4 assists).

He’s a very influential player for West Ham, taking 42 shots (third most in league) and playing 28 key passes (6th most).

Overall, he’s had 56 shot-creating actions (5th most) and 10 goal-creating actions (second most) and plays Burnley, Norwich and Watford in his next 5 games, who are all embroiled in a relegation battle.

Mason Mount

  • Price: £7.5m
  • Picked by: 15%
  • Fixtures: Leeds (H), Everton (H), Wolves (a)

After a wonderful goal against West Ham, Mount is a popular transfer this week, being brought in by over 120k FPL managers since.

He has been outstanding, averaging 1.14 goals and assists per 90 (second most in the league).

In front of goal he has scored 0.51 non-penalty goals per 90 (7th most) and is hitting 1.27 shots on target per 90 (10th most).

Creatively he’s even better, averaging an xA of 0.38 per 90 as well as producing 0.76 goal-creating actions per 90 (6th most).

Along with three good fixtures, Mount could slot into your team nicely.

Reece James

  • Price: £6.2m
  • Picked by: 35%
  • Fixtures: Leeds (H), Everton (H), Wolves (a)

With four goals and four assists, Reece James has been hot property in defence this season.

Amazingly for a defender he is averaging roughly one attacking return per 90, scoring from 67% of his shots on target.

He also plays for the league’s joint best defence, conceding only 9 times, with Chelsea keeping 8 clean sheets.

Coming up for James are teams who struggle to score, Leeds have only scored 15, Everton 17 times and Wolves only 12, failing to score in their last three.

Additionally, Leeds and Everton have only won once away, with Everton losing 5 of their last 6, so James could feast once more this weekend.

Emmanuel Dennis

  • Price: £5.6m
  • Picked by: 23%
  • Fixtures: Brentford (a), Burnley (a), Crystal Palace (H)

Going somewhat under the radar has been Watford’s Dennis, scoring 6 and assisting 5 goals, averaging 0.92 returns per 90 (5th most in league).

He’s had 16 shots on target (third most), landing 1.33 on goal per 90.

Furthermore, playing on the right of a front three, Dennis has supplied 8 goal-creating actions as well as 20 carries into the penalty area.

With three nice fixtures next he will make a solid budget forward, scoring 75 points so far which makes him the second highest scoring forward this season.
