FPL Gameweek 10 Tips
FPL Gameweek 9 provided frustration for many Fantasy Premier League managers. The most picked player, Eden Hazard, got a single point. Further evidence of a frustrating week was shown by the average points total of 43. Elsewhere, the most popular captain choice produced a satisfactory 6 points after his goal against Burnley. As has become typical in fantasy football, the most transferred in player, Matt Dohrety, was only able to produce one point.

Gameweek 10 Captain Choice
The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 10 captain choice is as clear as can be – Mohamed Salah. Last season’s top goalscorer has had an upturn in form after, by his own very standards, a poor start to the 2018/19 season. He got the winner in Gameweek 9 and followed that with two Champions League goals. A home fixture to Cardiff all but seals that he is the best captain choice for Gameweek 10. Of course Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will also enter the discussion, and be captained by many FPL managers, but their form and an injury question over the latter means Salah comes out in front. Outside of Liverpool vs Cardiff, Chelsea travel to Burnley which means Eden Hazard is viable captain choice. However, the Belgian has a back problem and is currently a slight doubt for the game. For a real wildcard there is the out of form Romelu Lukaku as Man Utd host Everton. We’ll keep it really simple though – if you own Mohamed Salah, captain him!
The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 10 captain choice is the clearest it has been in weeks. Will anyone who has Mohamed Salah not captain him?

Gameweek 10 – Transfers In and Out
With a home fixture to Everton, Anthony Martial becomes an immediate transfer target after his brace against Chelsea. The Frenchman has been in and out of the Man Utd team but with confidence at a high and Alexis Sanchez confirmed out, now could be the time for the £7.3m Martial to shine. Whilst Martial has an element of risk to him, Marko Arnautovic is as safe as they come. West Ham’s main man been a picture of consistency since he moved to the number 9 role. Elsewhere, Leicester go on a run of great fixtures. The leading candidates from the Foxes are Ben Chilwell and Jamie Vardy. The latter is an ever present, reliable source of points. He has scored at least 160 points in each of the last three seasons and has three goals to his name this campaign. Chilwell has made the Leicester left back spot his own and his attacking threat from previous matches was finally rewarded with an assist against Arsenal. Newcastle are another team with an excellent run of fixtures. With the threat of relegation looming and the fact that in their struggles they have shown defensive resilience. As a result we think Jamaal Lascelles at £4.8m is worth a differential pick. We discuss further Newcastle options here: https://www.fantasyfootballpundit.com/newcastle-players-in-fpl/
