Gameweek 32 Tips – FPL 2018/19

Gameweek 32 Tips

Fantasy Premier League returns following the international break with a potentially season-defining Double Gameweek. Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd are have two fixtures which are appealing on paper.

FPL Gameweek 32 Tips

Gameweek 31, albeit nearly two weeks ago now, produced an average of just 26 points. This was due to the numerous cancelled fixtures, however.

Callum Wilson was the most transferred in player and Mohamed Salah was the most captained. Both returned just two points each.

The largely unheard of Karlan Grant scored 13 points after two goals in Huddersfield’s thrilling defeat to West Ham. Joshua King and Sadio Mane also returned 13 points.

Gameweek 32 Captain Choice

The pressure is on with the Gameweek 32 captaincy. Given the Double Gameweek though, the decision lies between just a handful of players.

With Man City playing both low lying Fulham and Cardiff, it will be difficult to look beyond their players, especially with the incredible scoring stats they have. Naturally Sergio Aguero tops the captain list but he is perhaps the most susceptible to not starting one of the games.

Raheem Sterling scored four times over the international break and scored hat-trick in the last Premier League fixture he played. While his starting place isn’t certain, he may be considered the better option because of likelihood of minutes played. The other alternative is Leroy Sane who is also in good form, albeit outside of the Premier League.

Elsewhere, Eden Hazard’s Chelsea also have appealing fixtures. They travel to Cardiff before hosting Brighton. As a result Eden Hazard shoots straight to the top captain choices. Like Sterling, he scored in both games during the international break although there have been suggestions Hazard is fatigued.
