How Does Fantasy EFL Work? Everything You Need to Know

It will not be long until Fantasy EFL is released. Here is everything you need to know about the fantasy football game.

The fixtures are out for the Championship, League One, and League Two, and now all we need is for the game to go live. The EFL season commences on the weekend beginning 8th August 2024, so there is not long to wait.

It looks like EFL Fantasy will differ greatly from FPL, and the differences excite us massively.

When Will EFL Fantasy Be Released?

At the moment, we do not know when the game will go live.

However, we know the game will be ready for the 2024/25 season, presumably in the coming days.

With this in mind, EFL Fantasy should be released in July 2024 at the latest. It should go live at a similar time to FPL 2024/25.

Fantasy EFL Gameplay Features

EFL Fantasy is slowly providing more information about the game. We recently received our biggest update, and details about the gameplay were revealed.

They have shared that players will have to pick a squad each week consisting of just 7 players.

With around 2000 footballers in the EFL, some tough decisions must be made. However, this is not the only thing players must do each week.

Fantasy EFL fans will also have to pick 2 teams to win from either the Championship, League One, or League Two.

So, not only is the squad vastly different but your fantasy success also directly depends on results.

We do not know much else about the gameplay for now, but we will provide more updates as soon as possible.

EFL Fantasy has revealed that we will soon learn details about scoring, captaincy, chips, leagues, and transfers.
