UCL Fantasy managers don’t have much time to prepare their teams as there is only a week’s gap between MD3 and MD4 .
With many managers having used their Wildcard chips already, this article will focus on players that not only have a good fixture in MD4 but also beyond that.
Interestingly, MD4 are the reverse fixtures of the last round, which means most teams should be relatively well set up already.
Pau Lopez
- Price: €4.5m
- Picked by: 1%
- Fixture: Sporting (a)
Marseille have not managed to transfer their form from Ligue 1 to the Champions League yet.
As expensive keepers do not offer great value in UCL Fantasy, Lopez is a good pick for the €4.5m managers will have to spend on him.
With 1% ownership, he is a great differential, though.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t have the highest clean sheet odds in MD4 but he does have the potential for save points against Sporting.
He also has an attractive MD5 fixture, where Marseille face Frankfurt. The German side have scored just once in this season’s Champions League so far.
Lopez and Marseille face Tottenham in MD6 but this is on the Tuesday. So, if he doesn’t perform well, you can transfer him out.
Sergio Gomez
- Price: €4.1m
- Picked by: 2%
- Fixture: Copenhagen (a)
Man City have the highest chance of keeping a clean sheet this week (58%). They won 5-0 against Copenhagen last week and there is a good chance that the reverse fixture will end similarly.
Gomez did a great job replacing the injured Walker in the starting lineup and got an assist.
With Man City being one of the early kick offs on Tuesday, UCL managers can make sure that he starts. If he does, he represents excellent value for money.
Filip Kostic
- Price: €5.5m
- Picked by: 2%
- Fixture: Maccabi Haifa (a)
Similar to the Man City game, the Juventus game is an early kickoff as well. If Kostic starts – which is likely – he offers both defensive and offensive potential for fantasy points.
Juventus are given a 37% chance of keeping a clean sheet. In 9 matches played this season, Kostic managed to score one goal and provide two assists.
UCL Fantasy managers can keep Kostic for MD5 as well where Juventus face Benfica for a game that they must win to have a chance of qualifying.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
- Price: €5.5m
- Picked by: 11%
- Fixture: Ajax (H)
Champions League fantasy managers who owned Kvaratskhelia since MD1 were probably disappointed by his returns from the first two matches.
This is because, despite playing well, hasn’t matched his returns from Serie A. However, that changed in MD3 where the Georgian scored 10 points.

Napoli dominated Ajax in their first match and Kvaratskhelia is in great shape.
It is likely that Napoli also score in the second match and Kvaratskhelia is given a 32% chance of getting on the scoresheet.
Phil Foden
- Price: €8.6m
- Picked by: 7%
- Fixture: Copenhagen (a)
Phil Foden has been putting up great numbers lately and achieved 6 goals and 4 assists in his 9 matches played so far.
His expected goal involvement is just below Haaland’s and De Bruyne’s with 0.69 xGI/90.
It’s uncertain whether he will start or not but the chances are high due to the early substitution on Saturday.
He’s a great punt if starting which is why fantasy managers should wait for the lineups before making their transfers.
Taking advantage of knowing Man City’s lineup ahead of the MD4 transfer deadline is imperative. Whoever starts will be expected to be among the points.
Giacomo Raspadori
- Price: €7.0m
- Picked by: 2%
- Fixture: Ajax (H)
Napoli are scoring goals for fun these days. Raspadori has performed superbly in the absence of Victor Osimhen.
He scored twice and provided one assist in just 63 minutes against Ajax last time out.

With a 35% chance of scoring against Ajax, he’s a great punt for €7.0m.
Napoli face Rangers next, so he’s a great pick for MD5 as well assuming Osimhen has not recovered by then.
Dusan Vlahovic
- Price: €9.0m
- Picked by: 4%
- Fixture: Maccabi Haifa (a)
Vlahovic was in last week’s article as well and those who couldn’t bring him in last week have a second chance of transferring him in before the reverse fixture against Maccabi Haifa.
Vlahovic managed to score 5 league goals already in a struggling Juventus team and finally got his first return in this season’s Champions League.
He remains a good differential pick and is given a 48% chance to score again against Maccabi Haifa.
Of all players priced €9.0m or less, he is MD4’s most likely goalscorer.
