The 2023/24 UCL season has kicked off and we’ve already witnessed some outstanding performances.
Galeno stood out as the top performer in the previous matchday, accumulating an impressive 19 points.
Meanwhile, Felix and Odegaard recorded 16 and 15 points, respectively, both earning the Player of the Match.
As we approach MD2, some of you may utilize the Limitless Chip to assemble a dream squad.
The key to using the Limitless Chip effectively is to focus on specific fixtures.
While this article primarily addresses squad selection for the limitless chip, it can also be applied to making the best transfers for MD2.
Jan Oblak
Oblak earned 4 points despite Atletico Madrid not keeping a clean sheet in MD1, due to his 7 saves.
Now, Atletico is set to face Feyenoord and they boast the 2nd best clean sheet percentage (44%) as per our UCL cheat sheet, only behind Bayern Munich.
Andre Onana
Man Utd share the second spot when it comes to clean sheet odds (44%) with Atletico, hence Onana being our other GK choice.
Despite Utd’s early struggles this season, a fixture at home against Galatasaray looks very promising.
Alphonso Davies
Bayern Munich has a 52% (the most) chance of Clean Sheet this MD.
Bayern also seems to be the team with the easiest fixture run from MD2 to MD5 as per our fixture difficulty matrix.
Davies has showcased his attacking threat with 3 assists in 5 Bundesliga games this season, solidifying his potential.
Federico Dimarco
Dimarco has carried his strong form from last season into the current one, contributing with both goals and assists for Inter (4 G/A in 6 Series A games).
His attacking threat is very notable in Inter’s 3-5-2 formation, making him an appealing fantasy asset.
Joao Cancelo
Cancelo has consistently been a strong fantasy performer, and his attacking contributions make him a valuable asset.
He provided 5 assists last season and averaged 6.4 points per apperance.
This season in La Liga, in just 4 starts he has 3 attacking returns (2 goals, 1 assist).
Facing Porto in MD2 might not provide the best clean sheet odds, but Cancelo’s attacking potential could make up for it.
Nahuel Molina
Atletico Madrid’s solid defensive record, coupled with Molina’s potential for attacking returns, makes him an attractive fantasy option.
With Atletico boasting the second-best clean sheet percentage this MD, Molina could be a valuable addition to your team.
William Saliba
Saliba’s consistent playing time makes him a reliable option in the Arsenal defense.
While he may not provide much in terms of attacking returns, his ball-recovery skills can contribute additional points to his fantasy points.
Arsenal’s other defenders, like Gabriel and Ben White, could also be worth considering as they are set to face Lens away.
Bukayo Saka
Saka has been in superb form in the Premier League, contributing to 7 G/A in 7 games, with only one game where he didn’t return.
His recent performances have also seen him show impressive xGI’s of 1.41 and 1.13 in the last two matches.
However, it’s important for managers to keep a close eye on his availability as MD2 approaches.
Saka has shown signs of injury and was substituted in the 75th minute in his last game.
Jude Bellingham
We’ve mentioned before and we’ll say it again, Bellingham might be the most underpriced player in UCL fantasy this season.
He had a stellar performance in MD1, accumulating 11 fantasy points and winning the Player of the Match.
In La Liga, he has already contributed to 5 goals and 1 assist in just 6 games.
Given his current form, it’s difficult to overlook him as a fantasy asset.
Man City’s Rodri is another player who has a strong case for consideration as an underpriced and bargain option.
He put in an impressive performance in MD1 and has already contributed to 3 goals in the Premier League for Manchester City.
Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes has faced a challenging start to the Premier League season, managing just 3 G/A despite averaging 0.79 xGI per 90 minutes.
Much of this can be attributed to Manchester United’s inconsistent performances.
However, according to our cheat sheet, United has the second-best win percentage at 69% for the upcoming matchday.
Additionally, Fernandes is the designated penalty taker for United, which adds to his appeal.
Martin Odeggard
Just like his teammate, Odegaard has also been in excellent form for Arsenal, contributing to 5 G/A in 7 Premier League games.
In his most recent game against Bournemouth, he recorded an impressive 3 G/A.
Moreover, in MD1, he had 2 G/A and was named Man of the Match, accumulating a total of 15 points.
While Saka is the primary penalty taker for Arsenal, Odegaard has also stepped up to the spot a couple of times, providing additional opportunities for him to earn points.
Leroy Sane
Sane has been a consistent starter in every Bundesliga game and has already scored 5 goals in 6 appearances.
Bayern Munich has a highly favorable fixture in the upcoming MD, with an 80% chance of winning against Copenhagen.
Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland had a relatively quiet night by his standards in UCL MD1, securing only 1 assist and finishing with 5 points.
However, his incredible Premier League form, having 9 G/A in 6 games, highlights his scoring ability.
The Norweigan is more than capable of a massive Champions League haul, having scored 5 goals against Leipzig in one match last season.
Kylian Mbappe
Mbappe continues to be a top choice in UCL Fantasy, even when facing tough opponents like Newcastle.
He has already scored 7 goals in Ligue 1 in just 5 appearances and his track record in UCL speaks for itself.
PSG playing on Wednesday adds to Mbappe’s appeal as one of the better substitute options.
Harry Kane
Harry Kane’s outstanding form since joining Bayern Munich has been remarkable.
He has accumulated 11 G/A in just 6 Bundesliga games for the German giants.
Kane’s current form, combined with the fixture against Copenhagen, makes him a straightforward pick.

Best UCL Fantasy MD2 Captain
Tuesday

Kane’s impressive form and the favorable fixture for Matchday 2 makes him a top choice for fantasy managers.

With 3 goals and assists in his last 2 games, Saka is in fine form, and Arsenal’s fixture against Lens presents a favorable opportunity for more returns.
Wednesday

He has a 56% chance of scoring, the most of any Wednesday player.
Kylian Mbappe
Fixture difficulty doesn’t concern Mbappe, given his ability to score regardless of the opposition.
With a 46% chance of scoring, he is a top asset despite the tough fixture against Newcastle.
