Cristiano Ronaldo

  • Price: £12.5m
  • Picked by: 27%
  • Fixtures: Newcastle (a), Burnley (H), Wolves (H)

Ronaldo has 7 goals this season, scoring 0.61 per 90.

The quality of chances he’s getting is high, with an xG of 7.2 (fourth highest in the league), averaging 0.63 per 90 (second highest).

This is due to him taking 44 shots overall, taking on 3.85 per 90 (third most).

In his next two fixtures Newcastle and Burnley are his opponents, who both currently occupy a place in the relegation zone.

After already grabbing a brace against Newcastle this season, he’ll back himself to score against the league’s worst defence (conceding 41).

Heung-Min Son

  • Price: £10.3m
  • Picked by: 16%
  • Fixtures: Crystal Palace (H), Southampton (a), Watford (a)

After scoring against Liverpool at the weekend Son is also on 7 goals this term, claiming three assists too.

He has a non-penalty xG of 5.2 (8th highest in the league), looking threatening up front alongside Harry Kane.

As well as being Spurs’ top scorer, he’s also made the most key passes in the team (24).

Next he faces Palace, Southampton and Watford, who he has scored a combined 20 league goals against during his career.

If Kane, who also scored against the Reds, can get back to his best, then the Kane-Son partnership that thrived in 2020/21 could prosper again.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

  • Price: £8.3m
  • Picked by: 44%
  • Fixtures: Leeds (H), Leicester (a), Chelsea (a)

Providing 8 assists and scoring two goals, Alexander-Arnold is the highest scoring defender in the game with 126 points.

He has the highest xA in the league (6.8), making the most key passes (50) and shot-creating actions (84), along with 11 goal-creating actions (second most in the league).

Additionally he’s made the most passes into the final third (139) and into the penalty area (48), giving him stats that resemble an attacking midfielder.

In GW19 Liverpool play Leeds, who’ve only scored 8 times away from home whilst conceding 21 times on the road (most).

Joao Cancelo

  • Price: £6.8m
  • Picked by: 37%
  • Fixtures: Leicester (H), Brentford (a), Arsenal (a)

Another creative full-back is Joao Cancelo, who has a goal and 6 assists.

He has produced 8 goal-creating actions (8th most in the league), making 47 crosses as well.

The Portuguese international has also made the most passes into the final third (139) and 46 into the penalty area.

Costing £6.8m he represents great value, scoring 16.03 points per million this season (second most) playing for a team that’s kept three clean sheets in a row, conceding only 9 times all season.
