FPL Player Comparison Tool

Use this free Fantasy Premier League comparison tool to compare the stats of any two players in FPL.

Compare Period

Choose two players above to see how they compare.

The tool compares key stats and metrics between players and directly compares their upcoming fixtures and predicted points.

These comparisons can be filtered by season (default) or between the last 1 to 6 gameweeks in the ‘Compare Period’ box.

There are also bars showing how the players compare on these stats per 90 minutes played.

You can compare all teams’ upcoming matches using our FPL fixture difficulty rating and point projections on our FPL points predictor tool.

Reading the comparison

A tick marks whichever player leads on each row. Note that ‘leads’ means different things on different metrics — on goals conceded and cards the lower figure wins, so the tick goes to the player with fewer.

Per 90 minutes is usually the fairer comparison when one player has started more often than the other. A midfielder on 120 points from 3,000 minutes and one on 80 from 1,400 look very different on totals and much closer per 90.

Those rates are hidden below a full match of football. A player with forty minutes and a goal reads as 2.25 goals per 90, which is noise rather than a rate.

What are defensive contributions?

Defensive contributions, or DEFCON, are the newest way to score in FPL. Defenders earn two points for reaching ten in a match; midfielders and forwards need twelve. Goalkeepers can’t earn them at all.

They matter most when comparing two defenders or two defensive midfielders who look similar on attacking returns, since one may be picking up an extra two points most weeks. Our DEFCON stats page shows how often every player actually reaches the threshold.
