Mohamed Salah

  • Price: £12.7m
  • Picked by: 37%
  • Fixtures: Leicester (H), Burnley (a), Norwich (H)

The top scoring FPL asset is set to return from AFCON duty in GW24. That doesn’t mean he is guaranteed to start but it is great news for managers who held onto him.

He has 177 points which have mainly come from being the league’s top scorer (16), scoring 6 more than the second top scorer.

The Egyptian also has 9 assists, averaging 1.26 attacking returns per 90, and has had the most shots on target (32) and most goal-creating actions (19).

In GW24 he faces Leicester, who’ve allowed 16.3 shots on goal this season (second most in the league), but he may be rested as Egypt could yet get to the final of the tournament.

Kevin De Bruyne

  • Price: £12.2m
  • Picked by: 15%
  • Fixtures: Brentford (H), Norwich (a), Spurs (H)

One premium option that’s shone whilst Salah’s been absent is Kevin De Bruyne,

Averaging 0.49 goals and 0.36 xA per 90 he has been very influential for City.

He has taken 3.61 shots per 90 (fourth most in the league), made 42 key passes and 5.66 shot-creating actions per 90 (the most).

Additionally he has great fixtures including Norwich, which he is a potential captaincy option for.

Bruno Fernandes

  • Price: £11.7m
  • Picked by: 21%
  • Fixtures: Burnley (a), Southampton (H), Brighton (H)

Fernandes has picked up form recently, scoring 27 points in his last three gameweeks.

He has scored 7 and created 5 this season, boasting an xA of 6.2 (third highest in the league) making the most key passes (58).

Putting 50 passes into the box (third most) and producing 87 shot-creating actions (second most) he is the king of creating chances.

He is another with great fixtures, having a double gameweek in GW25 as well.

Philippe Coutinho

  • Price: £7.0m
  • Picked by: 9%
  • Fixtures: Leeds (H), Newcastle (a), Watford (H)

Coutinho’s return to the league will have many managers keeping an eye on the Brazilian.

He may have had a tough few years but his quality remains and could be an essential pick at some stage.

His non-penalty xG per 90 of 0.94 shows he’s getting into good goalscoring positions already at Villa, scoring on his debut.

Taking 3.75 shots per 90 including 2.81 on target he is likely to get a few more too, and with three fixtures with a FDR of 2 he may score very highly.
