FPL Rank History Checker Tool
Enter your team ID for every overall rank you have had, and where each one placed you as a percentage of everyone playing that season.
It’s not just about the current season in Fantasy Premier League. When it comes to bragging rights, overall ranks from previous seasons go a long way — and a rank on its own does not travel well between them, which is why each is shown as a percentage too.
How to Check Your FPL History?
Enter your team ID above, or do it through the Fantasy Premier League website:
- When logged in, go to the ‘My Team’ tab
- On the right-hand side click the ‘Gameweek History’ link found in the ‘Points/Rankings’ section
- From there, scroll down to the ‘Previous Seasons’ section which will show you your FPL history
However, this method doesn’t provide your ranking as a percentage — which is the number that actually lets you compare seasons.
Why percentile matters more than rank
Comparing raw ranks across seasons is misleading, because the game has grown enormously. Roughly 2.4 million people played in 2010/11; more than 12 million play now.
That means finishing 20,000th in 2010 was a rarer achievement than finishing 15,000th today, even though the number is bigger. Percentile corrects for it by expressing your finish as a share of everyone who played that season.
The chart above uses a logarithmic scale for the same reason. Ranks span from the low thousands to the high hundreds of thousands, and on a normal scale every good season would be squashed flat against the top of the axis.
How does your whole career rank?
Season-by-season is one view. The other question — and the harder one — is where your entire record places you against every other manager who has played.
Our all time rank checker combines your last ten seasons into a single ranking, weights recent years more heavily, and shows where you sit among every manager with a comparable record. It also breaks that record down into 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 year ranks, so you can see whether you are improving.
Can’t find your team ID?
Your team ID is the number in the address bar when you view your team on the FPL site. Our guide to finding your FPL team ID walks through it in three steps.
One thing worth knowing: FPL issues new entry IDs every season, so an ID you saved last year won’t work now. Your history is still attached to your account — only the number changes.
